Gerety Awards New York Event Highlights Creative Momentum

With the April 17 standard entry deadline approaching, the Gerety Awards brought together the creative community in New York last week for an evening of conversation, connection and powerful perspectives.

Hosted at McKinney New York as part of the Gerety Live series, “Balancing Bytes & Intuition: AI’s Role in Shaping Creativity” welcomed creatives from across agencies, brands and production companies, reflecting the global momentum building around the 2026 awards.

The panel explored the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity- from the opportunities AI unlocks to the importance of instinct, craft and cultural understanding in shaping meaningful work. The discussion highlighted one of the most defining topics in the industry today and reinforced the role of human judgment in creating ideas that resonate.

As with all Gerety Live events, the evening extended beyond the panel, creating space for connection across New York’s creative community.

The New York event forms part of a global Gerety programme, with events taking place across key creative hubs. The next Gerety Live gathering will take place in Los Angeles on May 5, bringing together West Coast creative leaders for an evening of conversation and networking.

As agencies and brands prepare their submissions, the Gerety Awards continues to stand out for its unique judging approach, with an international jury of leading female creatives, selecting the most effective work from around the world.

Entries for the 2026 Gerety Awards are open, with the standard deadline set for April 17. Agencies and brands have the opportunity to have their work judged by some of the industry’s most respected creative leaders and to contribute to global industry rankings.
