Our mission

Círculo Creativo USA is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 with a singular focus: elevating the quality of creative work in the U.S. Hispanic advertising market. We champion creativity as the most powerful driver of business growth, providing a platform where our creative community can educate, inspire, collaborate, and connect, bringing together brands and award festivals across Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.

Círculo Creativo USA is proud to partner with NCM and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to present the U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competition. Winning teams earn sponsored trips to the Cannes Lions Festival, where they compete on the world stage as "Team USA Hispanic," representing the best of U.S. Hispanic creative talent against competitors from around the globe.


Who Can Join

Círculo Creativo USA is open to:

  • Hispanic advertising, marketing, digital, creative, and design agencies and studios with an operating office in the United States.

  • U.S. general market agencies that employ advertising professionals of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Freelance creatives of Latin American or Spanish origin working with U.S. Hispanic or general market agencies, creative studios, PR firms, media companies, or in-house agencies.

  • Students and faculty of Latin American or Spanish origin enrolled in or teaching at universities in the United States.

  • Unemployed advertising professionals of Latin American or Spanish origin based in the United States.

Every year, Círculo Creativo brings together the Hispanic advertising community across Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City to learn, connect, and grow. Our local events create the perfect environment for companies to engage with influential creatives and executives, build meaningful industry relationships, and network with some of the best talent in the business. The atmosphere is relaxed and energetic, with venues carefully chosen to match the spirit of this vibrant community.


Creative Talks and Webinars
Círculo Creativo USA brings together some of the most inspiring and insightful voices in advertising through our ongoing series of creative talks and webinars. Past speakers have included Carlos Bayala, Founder and Creative Director of NEW London; Philip Thomas, former CEO of the Cannes Lions Festival and CEO of Accentual Events; David Slocum, Faculty Director of the Executive MBA program at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership; Shaun Nichols, CEO of LALA U.S.; Angela Carrales, Senior Director of Marketing at 7-Eleven, Inc.; and Julia Estacolchi, Director of Brand Marketing at Match.com.

Special Hispanic Creativity Report Section within the HMC Hispanic Market Guide
The Hispanic Marketing Council (HMC) Hispanic Market Guide is the authoritative resource for identifying companies with trusted Hispanic marketing expertise. In addition to featuring research and insights from Kantar and Nielsen, the guide provides brands and journalists with competitive intelligence for locating and engaging the top agencies in the market. The Hispanic Creativity Report, a joint initiative between Círculo Creativo USA and the HMC, is featured as a dedicated section within this essential industry publication.


Collaboration and Support with Ibero-American Advertising Festivals
Círculo Creativo USA maintains strong relationships with the most prestigious advertising festivals across Ibero-America, supporting them through juror nominations, award show promotions, participation programs, and official U.S. representation.


U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competition
Since 2003, Círculo Creativo USA has organized the U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competition to identify and select the official "Team USA Hispanic," sending pairs of talented young creatives (aged 30 and under) to represent the United States at the Cannes Lions Young Competitions in Cannes, France.

Past winners have earned international recognition, including a Gold in Film (2011) and Silver honors in both Film (2010) and Press (2004).


Cannes Lions USA Hispanic Meet-Up Event “Punto de Encuentro”
Each year, Círculo Creativo USA heads to Cannes to host "Punto de Encuentro," an exclusive gathering that celebrates U.S. Hispanic participation in the Cannes Lions Festival. This private event brings together leading advertising agencies, celebrated creatives, production companies, and media and press organizations for an unforgettable evening of recognition and connection at the world's most prestigious creative festival.

Círculo Creativo USA tracks and reports the wins earned by its U.S. Hispanic agency members across the world's most prestigious advertising festivals, including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The One Show, CLIO Awards, D&AD, London International Awards, ADC Awards, New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, American Advertising Awards, Effie Awards, Radio Mercury Awards, El Sol Festival, FIAP Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and more.


Collaboration with Círculos Creativos Across Ibero-America
Círculo Creativo USA actively collaborates on programs and initiatives with Círculos Creativos in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Creative Leadership, Education, and Mentorship
Círculo Creativo USA is dedicated to fostering creative excellence and meaningful communication among professionals in the U.S. Hispanic advertising market. To empower the next generation of creative leaders, we developed the Círculo Creativo Creative Leadership Accelerator Program and the Círculo Creativo Scholarship for the Berlin School's Executive MBA Program.


U.S. Hispanic Idea Awards
Presented by Círculo Creativo USA, the U.S. Hispanic Idea Awards served as the industry benchmark for creative excellence in Hispanic-market advertising from 2012 to 2017, honoring outstanding campaigns produced by both Hispanic and general market agencies targeting Hispanic consumers.
