Our mission

Founded in 1999, Círculo Creativo USA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting creativity in the U.S. Hispanic advertising market. Our mission is to improve the quality of creative work in the U.S. Hispanic market. We defend creativity as the most powerful tool for business growth. We provide a platform to educate, inspire, collaborate, network, and connect brands and award festivals with our creative community in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.

Círculo Creativo USA is honored to support NCM and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity with the U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competition. The winning teams will be sponsored to attend the Cannes Lions Festival to participate in the global Young Lions competitions as “Team USA Hispanic" They will have the opportunity to showcase their talent globally by competing against teams from all over the world.


The CIrculo Creativo USA is open to

  • Hispanic Advertising Agency, Marketing Agency, Digital Agency, Creative Agency, Creative Studio, and Design Studio with an operating office in the United States.

  • U.S. General Market agency with advertising professionals who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Public Relations company or agency with professionals who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Media companies with professionals who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Freelance creatives employed by a U.S. Hispanic advertising company, general market, creative agency, creative studio PR company or agency, media industry company, or in-house agencies, who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Students and faculty members in universities in the United States, who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Unemployed advertising professionals in the United States, who are of Latin American or Spanish origin.

  • Production companies, post production companies, and still photographers who work for the U.S. Hispanic market and with an operating office in the United States.

Every year, Círculo Creativo and the Hispanic advertising industry gather to learn, be seen and heard, and grow their creative connections. Our local events allow companies to contact these influential creatives and executives, and network with the industry’s best and brightest. It is a relaxed and fun environment, and the selected venues are in line with the energy of this particular crowd.

Círculo Creativo USA organizes different creative talks by the most inspirational and insightful speakers in advertising. The Hispanic Marketing Council (HMC) Hispanic Market Guide is the authoritative source for identifying companies with trusted Hispanic marketing expertise. This guide not only serves as a valuable resource for marketers, featuring research and insights from Kantar and Nielsen, but it also provides brands and journalists with unparalleled competitive intelligence for locating and targeting the top agencies in the market. The Report on Hispanic Creativity is a joint effort of the Círculo Creativo USA, HMC, and PRODU.

 

Collaboration and support with Ibero-American advertising festivals
Círculo Creativo USA collaborates with the most important Ibero-America advertising festivals. We support them with member juror nominations, award show promotions, participation programs, or by being their official representative in the USA.

 

U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competition
Since 2003, Círculo Creativo USA organizes the “U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competitions” in order to select the “TEAM U.S.A. Hispanic” creative team (aged 30 or under) and send the official team(s) of two young creatives to participate at the Cannes Lions Young Competitions in Cannes, France.

Cannes Lions USA Hispanic Meet-Up Event “Punto de Encuentro”
Every year, Círculo Creativo USA organizes the Cannes Lions USA Hispanic Meet up event “Punto de Encuentro” and heads to Cannes for the ultimate place to be seen and heard. This is a private event with the most important advertising agencies, renowned creatives, production companies, and media and press companies in order to celebrate the U.S. Hispanic participation in Cannes Lions.

Círculo Creativo USA covers and reports the U.S. Hispanic agency winners at the most important advertising festivals such as: the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The One Show, CLIO Awards, D&AD, London International Awards, ADC Awards, New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, American Advertising Awards, Effie Awards, Radio Mercury Awards, El Sol Festival, FIAP Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, among others.

Círculo Creativo USA collaborates in different programs with the Círculos Creativos in Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Círculo Creativo USA offers free or discounted admission to various Círculo Creativo’s events throughout the year. Plus, sharing Media Supporter news on our social media platforms about our agency members. In addition, we issue recommendation letters and U.S.H. Idea Awards verification letters to creatives that are processing their work visa applications.

 

Creative leadership, education, and mentorship
Círculo Creativo USA is dedicated to promoting creative excellence and communication among professionals working in the U.S. Hispanic advertising market. To empower the next generation of creative leaders from this demographic, we’ve organized the "Círculo Creativo Creative Leadership Accelerator Program" and the “Círculo Creativo Scholarship” for the Berlin School’s Executive MBA Program. In addition, Círculo Creativo USA collaborates with InVisible Creatives Mentor-at-Home sessions, a speed-dating-style online mentorship program to make mentorship more accessible, easy and fresh.

 

U.S.H. Idea Awards
The U.S. Hispanic Idea Awards was the industry standard to celebrate outstanding creative achievement in advertising generated by Hispanic or general market agencies targeting Hispanic consumers.  The award show was produced and presented by Círculo Creativo USA. This event has been postponed until further notice.
