2016 YOUNG CREATIVES contest

ABOUT

Círculo Creativo, supporting National CineMedia (NCM) with the U.S. Young Lions competitions, is the administrator of the official US Hispanic "Young Creatives Contest." Only participating teams that are working at a Hispanic agency or on a Hispanic account can participate.

The first place winning team will be partially sponsored to attend the Cannes Lions Festival in June 2016 to participate in the global Young Cyber Lions competitions as “TEAM USA HISPANIC” competing against teams from all over the world. During the Festival week, the global Young Lions competitions offer these winning teams from around the world an opportunity to compete against each other and showcase their talent globally. Winning the competitions would be a hugely rewarding experience that could change a career forever.

The second place winning team will be partially sponsored to attend the "Silla Silencio" in May in El Sol - El Festival Iberoamericano de la Comunicación Publicitaria in Bilbao, Spain.

About Silla Silencio:  The “Silla Silencio (Silent Chair)” is an initiative officially launched by El Sol for their 30th anniversary.

El Sol assembles a jury of over 50 professionals from all over Ibero-america in Bilbao: The jury is selected by creative clubs from each country, then hand-picked by El Sol and Cannes winners from the previous four years, finally,  each name is approved by the festival’s counseling committee. This complex process guarantees we have a slice of the best regional talent in advertising each year. Because El Sol doesn’t have on-line voting, all decisions are made in a physical debate, we believe that being a part of the jury debates is a wonderful opportunity to learn; that is why we like to bring a young creative to each section’s jury (agency employees with great talent but little experience who have never been a part of a jury) . Without a doubt, the opportunity to participate in the debates and interact with the jury as a group member would be an unforgettable experience for eight young creatives (the student participating in the “silent chair” does not actively participate in the debates, only listens, and has no vote).

To be part of  the “Silla Silencio (Silence Chair)” you must be a winner from one of the contests affiliated with El Sol such as Creative Circle, Clear Channel, Adlatina, etc.
